About the event
The abolition of the American slave trade was the first blockbuster milestone of the Republican Party, only eleven years after its conception in 1854. Come celebrate and commemorate the liberty and freedom that first began among the African American community. All are welcomed to this event. There will be jazz, interpretive dance, multi-media, drama, and song. Our featured speaker will be Jolie Balantyne, Associate Dean of Hillsdale College.
